The CROT4D Gauntlet of Embers (Courage)
CROT4D Contestants must traverse a shifting maze of fire-lit corridors while avoiding traps, illusions, and bursts of searing flame. Hidden within the maze are Ember Sigils that grant protection or temporary power. However, greed often leads to downfall; those who linger too long risk being consumed by the inferno.
Victory in this trial belongs not to the fastest, but to the bravest—those willing to press forward despite fear.
Perhaps the most anticipated event, this trial pits champions against one another in controlled combat. Weapons are permitted, though lethal blows are prevented by ancient wards cast by the High Arcanists. The arena floor periodically fractures, revealing rivers of lava that reshape the battlefield.CROT4D
Every strike sends sparks into the air. Every victory is earned through grit and resilience.
The final trial is reserved for the top five competitors. They must climb the Spire of Cinders, a spiraling tower that radiates intense heat and projects visions drawn from each climber’s deepest fears and regrets.
There are no weapons here. No allies. Only inner resolve.
The first to reach the summit and grasp the Golden Scale—a relic said to hold a fragment of the Dragon’s essence—is declared Inferno Champion.
